- Edward Crepeau, 80, of 66 Summer St., a retired carpenter, died Monday at the Landmark Medical Center-Woonsocket Unit. He was the husband of Rose (Plante) Crepeau, Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Oliviere and Marie (Carle) Crepeau.
Mr. Crepeau worked for many years for the Gilbane Construction Co., Providence, until retiring in 1971. He was a member of the Manville-Albion Golden Agers Club, the Holy Family Christian Group, St. Agatha's Senior Citizens, RSVP, and was a volunteer at the Woonsocket Senior Center.
Besides his wife he leaves a son, Charles E. Crepeau of Norristown, Pa.; two daughters, Sister Mary Crepeau, RJM, of Fall River, and Sister Jacqueline Crepeau, RJM, of Woonsocket, a teacher at Mount St. Charles Academy; two sisters, Evelyn Crepeau of Manville, Leda Niemczyk of Woonsocket, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from Menard's Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, with a funeral Mass at 10 at St. James Church, Division Street. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham.
